Outstanding high altitude (350,metres) Rhone from an area once better known for dessert wines, this organic red Beaume de Venise is a blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah that gives intensity of flavours with being heavy or jammy. Look for black currant fruit and flinty bay leaf and rosemary herbal notes. Terrific value!
