Just about any liquor store you walk into has products stacked around with signs telling you what a great deal it is. In almost every case, it is a mass-produced industrial product that the store has bought on sale and is using in its flyer hoping to sell lots of.
We use our stack space rather differently. If we have something stacked at the front, it’s because we think it offers exceptional value for our customers; so much so that we grabbed lots of it (often, all of it). It can be inexpensive, like the Terre Soleil Merlot for $19, or it can pricier, like the Da Silva Pinot Noir at $48 (almost gone as I write this), but if we stack it, we really believe in it.
